Tomorrow When the War Began is an amazing story, about eight secondary school aged kids that have planned a holiday vacation away from modern world and camp out in the Australian mountains. Whilst these friends are on there vacation they see Army Planes flying over them. At first the think it's the air force practicing. They go back to there hometown and cut there trip short because they just have had enough. when they got back they went each of there homes but unfortunately there was no one there the got to the main girls house and she could not find anyone there they were not positively of what was going on as they were leaving they see the girls dog lying there DEAD!!. At this point they new that something very bad had happened to there family. They decide to split up and find out what actually was going on. they finally went to the fair grounds of the town and found the whole community held as prisoners. To this point they new that Japan had declared war on Australia.

Japan? The book never specified who invaded. Otherwise a good review, although you need to remember the difference between there, their and they're.
